Unplug and work.
Okay, okay. I am a gadget junkie.
I am a get ‘er done in a fancy-ass way kind of girl. It’s not that I am a spoiled bitch, I work hard for my cool ass toys and I have worked even harder remodeling (completely from studs, but that is another story, in it’s self) my home-office to better house all of those kilowatt yearning nifties and to finally give myself a place to call work, like a destination.
I know, I know #bloggerproblems, right?
I am not, however, a fan of crap. Clutter may be a better way to put it. Way too may gadgets can tend to make one a bit crazy. Even more can turn one homicidal.
I started with various Androids, a few iPhones, a couple of towers and then eventually a HP Mini (with 2 screen replacements), and don’t even get me started on that whole tablet bit. (Ughh, the dark period of gotta have Kindle, NOW and an iPad and maybe a few for the kids, wait though…we have large phones and small laptops??)
Those eventually became obsolete and I moved onto the new gear (again, sigh).
But as ridiculous as it is having a spot to plug in each and every one of these devices; completely unplugging is uncontrollable laughed at.
Where is the middle ground from have your duel 32in Screen and iPhone housing development and not having one at all?
I have to say I am happiest ANYWHERE with my Chromebook and Samsung Note 2.
As you can see I made a minor modification and added a wireless mouse, but for the most part this is O.E.
Do I really blog from just that and how?!?!
I have AT&T and use the Mobile Share Plan. My family shares 6 GB (lol, such an old post) and it is more than enough for blogging on the go.
When it comes to memory, because the Chromebook is lacking when it comes to hard drives, but makes up for it in awesomeness, I use Google Drive to share with myself and all of my toys.
It really all works very seamlessly together and I am thrilled to be carrying around such a thin laptop that can actually do something. This laptop lasts forever, I have never had a moment of *Low Battery, Dumb Ass*.
I also love the keyboard, because I am really a drummer at heart and I tend to type like a delicate caveman, but this keyboard feels like it can take every bit of my tap-tap-a-tapping, and still look stylish as hell.
How do you get your blog on?
I would love to hear all about your gear and what you are drool-dreaming about!
