Hey couponers, stockpilers and general organizational obsessors, I have a DIY pegboard craft project for you.
Oh coupons, I really used to love them, I kind of still do…It’s just complicated now.
That’s not to say I don’t use coupons anymore, I just don’t run Sunday morning to get the screaming freebies too much these days.
I am still, however, a frugal bitch.
Storage problems come with the stockpiling territory, so you know. Once your pantry is all stocked up, you either have to become a supreme giver or take a few moments to just breathe (or both).
But there will always be a day I will need more random products (because…life you know) and I *may* just happen to find a deal and you guessed it, I will be right back here to square one.
But the truth in the matter is we all have to store all this stuff, couponed or not! My handy stockpile storage solution is…..
Pegboard Stockpile Storage
Let get started
There are many places to get pegboard, new at Home Depot or Lowes, used from Craigslist or even salvaged from the old shed outside.
As long as there is no water damage and you give it a good coat of paint, you should be golden.
Hang the Pegboard
There are so many ways to use pegboard, the kits usually come with all the pieces you need, but in my stockpile room rehab project (sorry I lost the pics) I just directly attached over runners on the wall.
I recommend using shims of some kind like washers or PVC tubing, if they don’t happen come with the pegboard board kit, because the hooks will hit the wall behind and possibly mess it up and the hooks will not release right.
Now Hang that Stockpile
I did come to one problem when I was hanging all my wonderful products, not all of the products had holes!!
So a little nifty trick I came up to make sure I was putting all the like products together was to hot glue bread tags to them.
Presto, now you can hang them up
Of course, I am obliviously not going to be gluing bread ties to a huge bottle of shampoo, but these little boxes work out great and I think you get the idea.
I just use a little dab from the hot glue gun and press and hold for a second.
Go Pin it and then make that shit, you can do it.
